Why I love and hate MLM

The truth is that network marketing or MLM as it's also called is a incredible concept, the fact that it takes little financial outlay to get started. The fact that it doesn't take four years or so of college to be successful. The fact that you can receive on the job training in your Network Marketing Co. and that anyone regardless of race, creed, education, experience, etc. can do it.

The problem is that we've been duped about how to do the business of MLM. If you're like me you've probably have spent money on training, leads, advertising, sales aides, seminars, products (that sell themselves supposedly), etc., etc., and on and on. All because you had a dream of being financially successful. You believed in the dream of retiring early and getting up at the crack of noon. Me too!! I've been doing this MLM thing off and on for the past 31 years or so with little or no success until now.

The problem has been that we have not been taught in our home business how to market, we've been taught about the product, the comp plan (maybe), How to think positive, maybe how to prospect or the three foot rule etc. But not how to market our MLM. Which is what we would of learned if we had gone through any kind of business marketing training.

We need above all else to know how to be profitable within the first three months. How many of you (like me) have gone on for months and months or years and years and never even making enough to pay for your product or service? And you were told it's because you need a bigger WHY! You don't believe, you need to fake it till you make it, etc., etc. Or you need more expensive leads (been there), or be on this call or at this seminar. Believe me I know where you're coming from, been there done that.

Let me get to the solution, FINALLY (someone said!)!! We have been doing the business of MLM completely backwards. We've been chasing people instead of them coming to us and we being the expert. That's what MARKETING is all about and what it can do for YOU. That may be the secret you've been looking for all these years, it has been for me.
