Network marketing success unfortunately is not a common story for most network marketers. This leads to the big question. How do you make Network Marketing Work for you?

Online businesses are popping out everywhere and most of them are finding ways to succeed using network marketing. The fact is that Multi-Level Marketing is creating a platform with flexibility and drive for these small businesses, which helps to propel them forward successfully.

The DSA report shows that there are over13 million people currently involved in direct selling in the US.

Although the business reputation is a bit tarnished, there are still millions of people around the world building this massive but unseen industry rightly called network marketing. They are enjoying network marketing success. This is possible because of the structure of the business and the diligent effort and commitment thats is brought forward by the ones who want to succeed.

How does Network Marketing Work

Unlike traditional sales business where a product is pushed upon a customer, most of which has high commission earning potential for the sales person per sale of products or service but only for that one time. Network marketing pushes you to build a relationship with your customers. Your commission may be smaller but is paid every time that customer buys that product or uses that service. This could happen repeatedly hence the term residual income.

In Network Marketing, we assist others in building their business. Their business is our business. That is the beauty of the multilevel marketing business, creating network marketing success for our down line.

Your down line builds your wealth along with theirs. The better they do for themselves the better it is for you. It is in your best interest to help your down line because in actuality you are helping yourself. The more individual business you help build the more business you get in return.

That is where Network Marketing Success came from. You being the coach gets paid for this because you are assisting, teaching and helping them to establish their business. You are helping them to reach their financial goals. They in turn will do the same for the people they will be helping to build their financial future and so on. This creates a connection from one person to the next building a relationship joined by interest in the same business hence the word network.

Since we are all networking to create a business for our selves then it is fitting to refer to the process as marketing. In addition, even more fitting is being paid nicely for our efforts to help someone else to create a business where they will make a good living.


With all this network marketing success stories in the business, why the negative publicity about it?

There is no wonder in my mind the reason why we get so much negativity in the business. It seems too simple to understand why one person should help another person to build a business. Moreover why in that uncommon process they are building their own.

Traditional business does not like our business model because it looks like we are copying the wholesale industry business tactics while selling to retail consumers. Wholesale company sells their products to the retail stores and helps them to generate sales by advertising for them.

Take for example a car manufacturer. They advertise their cars on a general basis. All the commercials are the same for that car across the country. However, each individual franchise dealership adds their own spin to it. Now the more the dealership sells the more the manufacturers make. You the consumer will never meet a manufacturer selling their own cars at a corner lot. So why are they helping the dealerships by creating commercials for them? The same reason the coaches help their down line in network marketing. To maintain integrity of their products and to generate more revenue for themselves. For the coaches it means network marketing success.

To understand network marketing you have to remove the standard traditional method of doing business from your head. You have to step away from the normal job with predetermined pay grades. You have to be prepared to move away from the ordinary. Move away from the people that say you cannot do this or cannot do that. You have to be ready to move into a completely new world where you control your future.

It is true that the business has problems but then a gain who does not. The business flaws allowed swindlers to take advantage of genuine network marketing success stories and hence gave it a bad name. Their reputation now becomes yours. That is the same everywhere in everyday life. There is a nice term for it called stereotyping. Because you belong to a particular group you are perceived as that to what they represent. Unfortunately, it always happens to be the negative side of that group.

With that said you should never bow your head down to critics of the industry. There are a lot of success stories in the business. Most of them have one similarity hard work and persistence. Ironically, that is the same ingredient in all other successful traditional businesses. The adverse results are also the same and with the same ingredient for the ones that fail.

Most companies that fail do so because of bad management whether it be time or money or any other asset that should have been used to help the company. That is the same for the people that fail in network marketing. The thought of making a lot of money and even better having it coming continuously is very attractive. The working process to get to that point however most time is overlooked and hence failure is the result.

Nothing is automatic in life as far as success goes. You have to work for it. I believe that most of the misconceptions come from the fact that the successful network marketers are so much more ahead than the ones that fail that people always seems to hope to reach that level without ever thinking of the process it takes to get there. That gap in between is so large that they cannot see the steps to success. The business looks like a hit or miss. Either you make it or you don’t. That is not true, there is a nice cushion in between where you can be comfortable and make decent money. The end result does not always have to be the mansions, fast cars, yachts and expensive vacations.

Although the latter is the preferable results, sometimes you have to satisfy with being able to achieve just what is necessary. It is all about what you consider as satisfactory for you refer to yourself as being successful.


How do you make Network Marketing Work for you?

That is a great question to ask yourself. Network marketing success does not come by defaultNetwork marketing success does not come by default. You have to gather up your resources and formulate a plan. Your primary task will be to gathering customers for your products or services and building relationships. Helping and assisting others get started in their own business partnered with you as the source. It may take 3 to 5 years to produce the kind of network marketing success results that you want, but it is worth it.

You do not have to give up your day job right away, this happens slowly but surely. It will take 5 to 20 hours of consistent sincere time and effort each week to build a successful “Network Marketing Business”. You will need to create a marketing budget. It is a small one most of the time but most people do not even consider that. This is a real business, this is your future and should be treated as such. Network marketing is not a get rich quick overnight program. This seems to be the message of many naive marketers and websites. Do not fall for that story. Be prepared to work.

Network marketing success is fueled by word of mouth advertising. You build your business by building relationships. This is the most effective form of advertising. When you go out and find something good you tell people about it. That is networking. When a new store opened in your area, you try it out. If you saved money because of their great deals, you tell everyone how much you saved. They will check it out because of what you told them. That is the power of word of mouth advertising. Funny, the store did not pay you for it either. In network marketing, you get paid for word of mouth.

The big Question and even bigger answer that leads to network marketing success.

Now for that big question. Do we sell as network marketers and is this our primary goal to begin with the business? Well off course, you sell. How else will you make money? The whole goal of any business is to sell something, whether service or products. However, unlike a salesperson at a dealership for example, who sells a product they may have no interest in, network marketers recommend products or services that we like and personally use. If we know it is a good product because we use it, then recommending it to our customers is very easy.

The next and most important part of selling for network marketers is the sale of themselves. This is your most important product or service, yourself. You have to be able to sell yourself in order to build relationships. People are most comfortable buying from people they trust, people they believe in.

Remember in network marketing you have to build relationship by selling yourself. That is your most valuable product. You have to sell your best products or service to harvest network marketing success.
