Advertising and marketing in network-marketing home businesses.Advertising is a part of marketing, the engine that runs your business. You need to learn what it is all about. Find the right mediums to use that will be most profitable. You must advertise your business one way or another to get any type of customer exchanges to take place with your company. Without advertisements, you are almost invisible. How you advertise and how much you pay is the pivot to how much profit you will make in your network-marketing home business. You cannot build a business purely on hope. "Hope is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life." Hope implies a certain amount of perseverance i.e., believing that a positive outcome is possible even when there is some evidence to the contrary. Perseverance may sound good to you but the fact is you cannot build your business based on circumstances. You must learn the facts and the processes of how the business works before you commit to it. Failure to do your homework about a prospective home business may leave you with a false hope. The term false hope refers to a hope based entirely around a fantasy or an extremely unlikely outcome. This happens to be one of the diseases that is plaguing network-marketing businesses. Many new distributors are fed these false hopes in order to get them to join. They walk in hoping to make money without doing anything. Wake up people, just by buying a business package does not guarantee you wealth. You must work the business and work it correctly and efficiently. In any home business, you must have a plan that ends up with a profit. To grow your business you must market it properly. Before I developed the knowledge about this business, I confused marketing with advertising. Many people do. These two words are similar in function but are also very different. You have to be clear of their meaning when it comes to business, especially network-marketing home business. Advertising: is paid, public, non-personal announcement of a persuasive message by an identified sponsor. It is a non-personal presentation or promotion by a firm of its products to its existing and potential customers. Marketing: : is the systematic planning, implementation and control of a mix of business activities intended to bring together buyers and sellers for the mutually advantageous exchange or transfer of products. adapted from about .com Advertising is a part of the marketing process. It is the most expensive portion of doing business. It is the part that involves getting the word out concerning your business. It gives details about your product, or the services you are offering. Advertising involves the process of developing techniques and strategies for example ad placement or frequency. Advertising also includes the decisions on placement of an advertisement. Good advertisers chooses the best mediums for their targeted customers, example newspapers, email direct mail, billboards, television, radio, and of course the Internet. Each of these mediums has their edge based on the niche of your business.
![]() Network-marketing has eliminated a lot of this expense for the parent company and handed it down to you the distributor. I think that may be one of the key reasons there are so many negative feelings towards the business model. Imagine being able to compete with other companies offering the similar product. Paying less than a quarter of what they pay for their advertising costs and getting almost the same amount of distribution. That would make me jealous too. To distinguish between advertising and marketing you have to think of the latter as the whole pie. Share that pie and you find pieces of advertising, market research, distribution, media planning, public relations, product pricing, sales strategies, customer support, and community involvement. As you can see advertising only equals one piece of the pie. All of these elements must work independently. They also must work together towards the bigger goal. Marketing is a thorough process that takes time and can involve hours of research for a plan to be effective. Think of marketing as every little thing that an organization has to do to facilitate an exchange between the company and the consumer. In network-marketing most of the rest of that pie is taken care of for you. Your main concern is advertising your home business. You choose the method for examples flyer's, newspaper ads, business cards, Internet, word of mouth, etc. The best medium today is by far the Internet. It to also incorporates other mediums inside to help it be more effective. For example flyer's and word of mouth. Flyer's are called emails and word of mouth are keywords and links. Never be fooled into joining a business on hope. Hope that people find your business. You must advertise to be seen especially on the Internet. Advertising does not always have to be expensive. Word of mouth is also effective on the Internet.know how to use it to be successful. Know the facts about network-marketing. Demand the truth about this business model. We do and so should you.
